Step 1: Order Mazdaspeed3 boot
Step 2: Remove shift knob by twisting lefty loosey and pull up on center console parts until they all un-clip from each other.
Step 3: Remove 4 screws that hold retainer ring that holds nasty old shift boot.
TA-DA
Step 4: Remove old boot from retainer tabs, make sure new one is oriented the correct way, and install.
Step 5: Admire your hard work as your wife yells at you to get your car parts off the dining room table.
Step 6: Reinstall all that shit and VOI-FUCKIN-LA. Spice up your life.

Not bad, to be honest. I’ve been looking up some Mazda numbers and they’re much easier on the wallet than OEM parts for my IS300.
